If you’ve been wondering why things have been a little quiet around here lately… you’re not wrong. Meetings Academy went on an unexpected pause for the past few months, and I want to share why—and more importantly, what’s coming next.

Entrepreneurship is exciting, creative, and deeply rewarding, but it’s also hard. Hard in the “messy middle,” hard in the “no one is making you do this,” and hard in the “is anyone out there?” way.

I hit a season where my motivation dipped, and instead of pushing through on autopilot, I decided to do something uncomfortable: stop, reflect, and ask myself hard questions:

  • Do I still want to build Meetings Academy?

  • Is this ambition still aligned with the person I want to be?

  • Can it truly become the meaningful resource I’ve envisioned?

At the same time, summer showed up (as it tends to do!), and I spent more of my days with family than with my laptop. Between sitting in the stands watching lacrosse tournaments, road trips, late-night talks, and considering jumping back into an 8-5 job, I realized something important: stepping away wasn’t quitting—it was clarity. And clarity did come.

I missed this.

I missed creating resources that actually help meeting planners work smarter.

I missed the content, the templates, the research, the education.

I missed the purpose behind all of it.

Most of all, I realized that I’m not done. Not even close.

Meetings Academy is something I want to build into:

  • A real, consistent, growing brand

  • A profitable business that supports my life—not drains it

  • A long-term home for resources, training, and inspiration for planners

  • A place where professionals know they can come to get the tools and confidence they need

The time away reminded me WHY I started this business: because planners deserve practical, well-designed tools, and support. And I love helping planners.

So yes—I’m back. Refocused. Re-energized. And ready to start building the next phase of Meetings Academy with intention rather than urgency.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll see new content rolling out, new tools being developed, and some behind-the-scenes updates about what’s coming soon. I’m excited again. Motivated again. And grateful that you’re here, still believing in what Meetings Academy can become.

Thank you for your patience and for being part of this journey. See you at Meetings.Academy!
